Men's Counselling

Feeling stressed, overwhelmed or angry? Experiencing conflict in your relationships?

Many men feel pressure to put a mask on and pretend they're ok when they are not. This can make it difficult for them to seek help and support when they need it.  Men & Family Counselling is a male-focused service which provides a safe and supportive space for men to talk about what's working in their life, what's not working and practical strategies and solutions to move forward.

Simon provides specialised, male-focused counselling that recognises the unique challenges and concerns that men experience in their lives, and supports them to develop skills and tools to navigate these issues more effectively. He has supported thousands of men for more than 20 years and is passionate about helping men to improve their lives, mental health and relationships.

Whether you're dealing with stress, relationships, mental health, or just need to talk things through, Simon offers a space where you can work on what matters through tailored, individualised support.

The types of issues that men often come in and talk about include:

  • relationship issues
  • anxiety and depression
  • identity and masculinity
  • grief and loss
  • childhood trauma/abuse
  • anger and frustration
  • dealing with separation and divorce
  • grief over separation and the loss of day-to-day contact with their children
  • conflict with ex-partners
  • fathering issues
  • feeling disconnected or isolated
  • stress and work-life balance
  • career and life transitions (job loss, retirement).

Counselling with Simon is practical and focused on what matters most to you. He helps you make sense of what's going on in your life and works with you to find actionable strategies to deal with  life's challenges.

Simon provides male-focused therapy that understands the  pressures and experiences men face. He creates a space where you can talk openly about what's going on, without judgement, and walk away feeling heard and supported.
